Regrading, Curb Installation, Asphalt Paving, and ADA Compliance

American Striping was recently commissioned by The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company to re-grade an entire court in Edgewood, MD to meet The Americans with Disabilities Act 2% sloping standards. Prior to commencement of work, the slope of the area was as steep as 7% in some areas. American Striping removed and reinstalled over 400 feet of brand new concrete header curbing, excavated the entire area to meet the required elevations and sloping, back-filled to fine grade, and paved the court with 4 inches of hot plant mix asphalt. The final step was to stripe 8 handicap parking stalls with access aisles to meet ADA specifications. From start to finish, this project demonstrates our professional and exemplary ability to master all aspects of parking and pavement maintenance services.
